Dark Tales from Paradise Revenge is the thread that runs through the three segments making up this dark, disturbing feature. In the first segment, Midnite Affair, an American folklorist named Kevin comes to Trinidad with his girlfriend, Jessica, whose father has just died. When Kevin is separated from Jessica during Jouvay celebrations, he meets a seductive lounge singer named Charlie. Yet things aren’t as they seem. Slowly Kevin discovers that the stories he’s read about local folklore characters aren’t simply harmless legends.
In Radica, a quiet fishing village on Trinidad’s north coast is thrown into turmoil after a series of unexplained suicides. Superstitious residents blame the suicides on Radica, a murdered young woman whose unavenged spirit they claim is not at rest. A government psychiatrist come to the village to get to the bottom of the matter, but has the terror only just begun?
Finally, Sweet T&T tells the story of Sherry, a beautiful young Englishwoman on vacation with her Trinidadian boyfriend, Anton. After Sherry goes missing during Carnival, Anton receives a telephone call demanding a ransom for her return. With the help of his bloodthirsty friend, Jackson, he sets out to recover Sherry safe and sound. Little does Anton know, however, the shock that awaits him.
